A wind-surf board possesses at least one safety release foot- retaining loop (50) which is fixed to the surface of the surf board (12) in the region in which the surfer stands, in a manner such that the surfer standing on the surf board (12) can place one foot in a foot-receiving space (13) situated under the foot-retaining loop (50), and in the event of disproportionately high stresses on the surfer's foot situated in the foot-receiving space (13), in a direction perpendicular and/or parallel to the board surface (39) of the surf board (12), the foot-retaining loop (50) yields so that the foot is released. According to the invention, the foot-retaining loop possesses at least one rigid bar member (40) which extends above the foot-receiving space (13), at least approximately perpendicular to the direction (42) of insertion of the foot, and is attached to a bearing (11) attached to the board surface (39) adjacent to the foot-receiving space (13) so that it can pivot outwards at least in and/or counter to the direction (42) of insertion against the force of a releasing spring (20). <IMAGE>

Ein Stehsegelbrett weist wenigstens eine Sicherheitsauslöse-Fußhalteschlaufe (50) auf, die auf der Oberfläche des Segelbrettes (12) im Standbereich des Stehseglers derart befestigt ist, daß der auf dem Segelbrett (12) stehende Stehsegler einen Fuß in einen unter der Fußhalteschlaufe (50) befindlichen Fußaufnahmeraum (13) einstellen kann, und bei übermäßigen Beanspruchungen des in dem Fußaufnahmeraum (13) befindlichen Fußes des Stehseglers in Richtung senkrecht und/oder parallel zur Brettoberfläche (39) des Segelbrettes (12) derart nachgibt, daß der Fuß freikommt. Erfindungsgemäß weist die Fußhalteschlaufe zumindest ein sich über dem Fußaufnahmeraum (13) wenigstens annähernd senkrecht zur Einführungsrichtung (42) des Fußes erstreckendes steifes Stangenteil (40) auf, welches an einem neben dem Fußaufnahmeraum (13) auf der Brettoberfläche (39) befestigten Lager (11) zumindest in und/oder entgegen der Einführungsrichtung (42) gegen die Kraft einer Auslösefeder (20) ausschwenkbar befestigt ist.
