In the device for the non-positive coupling of the turning apparatus in a rotary sheet printing machine, a fixed toothed gear (1) and an adjustable toothed gear (5), which can be adjusted in the rotational position relative to the fixed toothed gear, can be braced together by means of an actuatable tensioning element (7) and a clamping plate (6) which is supported against the one toothed gear (5) and is held by the tensioning element (7) on the other toothed gear (1). Both toothed gears (1, 5) have additional friction elements (10, 11) which engage in one another in an overlapping fashion in the manner of a multiple disc clutch, the clamping plate (6) being supported by a pressure ring (9) in the overlapping region against an outlying friction element. Bei der Vorrichtung zur kraftschlüssigen Kupplung der Wendeeinrichtung in einer Bogenrotationsdruckmaschine sind ein Festzahnrad (1) und ein demgegenüber in der Drehlage einstellbares Verstellzahnrad (5) durch ein betätigbares Spannorgan (7) und eine Klemmplatte (6) miteinander verspannbar, die sich gegen das eine Zahnrad (5) abstützt und mit dem Spannorgan (7) an dem anderen Zahnrad (1) gehalten ist. Beide Zahnräder (1,5) weisen zusätzliche Reibelemente (10,11) auf, die nach Art einer Lamellenkupplung sich überlappend ineingreifen, wobei sich die Klemmplatte (6) mit einem Druckring (9) im Überlappungsbereich gegen ein außenliegendes Reibelement abstützt. Die Reibelemente bestehen vorteilhaft aus Reibscheiben (10,11).
