A massage apparatus 1 for the rolling massage of skin zones and reflex zones on the human body, having preferably two parallel axles 3a, 3b attached to a grippable transverse web 6a, each of which axles bears a large number of massage rings 4, mounted to rotate freely, with short needle points 6 arranged uniformly distributed over their periphery. The two axles 3a, 3b are attached to the transverse web 6a either in the axial direction of the handgrip 2 or perpendicularly to the axial direction of the handgrip 2. Such a massage apparatus 1 permits surface rolling massage by the patient himself of painful points on the body or of reflex zones requiring treatment, in such a manner that the optimum acupuncture-like stimulation effect can be induced even with a reduced number of hand movements.

Ein Massagegerät 1 zur Rollmassage von Haut- und Reflexzonen am menschlichen Körper mit vorzugsweise zwei an einem handgriffesten Quersteg 6a befestigten parallelen Achsen 3a, 3b, die jeweils eine Vielzahl von frei drehbar gelagerten Massageringen 4 mit an ihrem Umfang gleichmäßig verteilt angeordneten, kurzen Nadelspitzen 6 tragen. Die beiden Achsen 3a, 3b sind entweder in Achsrichtung des Handgriffs 2 oder senkrecht zur Achsrichtung des Handgriffs 2 am Quersteg 6a befestigt. Ein solches Massagegerät 1 ermöglicht die Flächen-Rollmassage schmerzender Körperstellen oder zu behandelnder Reflexzonen in Selbsbehandlung und zwar so, daß die optimale akkupunkturartige Reizwirkung schon mit einer verminderten Anzahl von Handbewegungen herbeigeführt werden kann.
