Abstract (en)
A water heater comprises a store (2) which can be heated via a heat exchanger (1), and a tapping point (7) fed directly from this store (2) and/or from the heat exchanger (1). In the start-up phase of the tapping operation, the feeding is provided by the store (2), and as soon as the intended temperature at the outlet (11) of the heat exchanger (1) is reached, the tapping line (8) is directly fed by the heat exchanger (1) in the course of flow. In order to reduce the storage volume necessary to bridge the start-up phase, the water throughput is adjustable to a minimum value by means of a throttle (13) during the start-up phase, and a regulator (17) which monitors the initial temperature of the heat exchanger (1) does not open until the intended temperature level has been reached in a bypass line (10) bypassing the store (2) which then connects this outlet (11) of the heat exchanger (1) directly to the tapping line (8).

Ein Wasserheizer umfaßt einen über einen Wärmetauscher (1) beheizbaren Speicher (2) und eine aus diesem Speicher (2) und/oder vom Wärmetauscher (1) unmittelbar gespeiste Zapfstelle (7). Innerhalb der Anlaufphase des Zapfvorganges erfolgt die Speisung aus dem Speicher (2), sobald die Soll-Temperatur am Ausgang (11) des Wärmetauschers (1) erreicht ist, wird die Zapfleitung (8) im Durchlauf vom Wärmetauscher (1) unmittelbar gespeist. Zur Verringerung des für die Überbrückung der Anlaufphase erforderlichen Speichervolumens ist der Wasserdurchsatz mittels einer Drossel (13) während der Anlaufphase auf einen Kleinstwert einstellbar und ein die Ausgangstemperatur des Wärmetauschers (1) überwachender Regler (17) öffnet erst nach Erreichen des Temperatur-Soll-Wertes eine den Speicher (2) umgehende Umgehungsleitung (10), die dann diesen Ausgang (11) des Wärmetauschers (1) unmittelbar mit der Zapfleitung (8) verbindet.
