[origin: EP0347278A1] The antenna base (1) comprises a threaded rod (5) suitable to pass through a hole provided in the wall (2), an abutment (7) comprising an aperture (8) passed through by the rod (5) and suitable to bear up against the wall (2), and gripping means (S) to exert a traction on the threaded rod (5) and apply the abutment (7) of the base against the wall. The abutment (7) comprises, on its face turned towards the wall, a groove (9) extending on either side of the aperture (8) and opening into the said aperture, this groove (9) being sufficiently deep for the bearing of the abutment (7) on the wall (2), even if this wall is radiused, to occur in four zones situated on the edges of the groove (9), which groove has a width (L) such that the said zones are sufficiently separated to ensure good stability of the mounting of the antenna base on the wall. <IMAGE>
