Abstract (en)
This cap (1) comprises a skirt (2) connected to a head (3) by a part (7) defining, internally, a frustoconical wall (13) which opens in the direction of the free end of the skirt (2) and forms an abutment region for the projecting bar (10) and a damping region in case of impact, the skirt (2) being extended, in the opposite direction to the said head (3), by a frustoconical zone (8) which narrows in the direction of the free end of the skirt (2), then opens at this end to form an entry cone (9), at least one longitudinal slot (14) being made in the parts (8) and (9). The cap (1), which can thus be put on bars of different diameters, is firmly held in place by pinching in the joining zone (16) between the two parts (8) and (9) and by bearing against the frustoconical part (13). <IMAGE>
