[origin: EP0347352A1] The fittings for a pivoting and tilting wing of a door, window or the like with a sash (9) which partially covers the frame (4) are composed of an angle support (10) and of a stop compass (11) which are fastened in rebates (7, 8) and which both have an auxiliary compass arm (13, 113) making it possible, during opening in the French manner, to offset the rear upright (2) of the sash (9) in relation to the rear upright (22) of the frame (4). <??>To allow these fittings to be used on doors, windows and the like of large size and weight and to guarantee an opening angle of the sash (9) greater than 90 DEG , the angle support (10) and the stop compass (11) are also equipped: - with a second compass arm (24, 124), one end (25, 125) of which is slideably mounted respectively on the lower (21) and upper (121) cross-member of the frame (4); - and with a link (39, 139) connecting the second compass arm (24, 124) to the said frame (4). <IMAGE>
