The crushing tongs, comprising a tongs body (7) for receiving two tongs parts (1, 1') which are each pivotable via their own centre of rotation (2, 2') and which, away from the centre of rotation, are divided up into a tongs lever (3, 3') for applying the force and a cutting lever (4, 4') for exerting the crushing force, has on the cutting lever (4, 4') means (5, 60) for detachably fastening the tongs bumps (12, 61, 63). Die Brechzange mit einem Zangenkörper (7) zur Aufnahme von zwei, über je ein eigenes Drehzentrum (2,2') schwenkbaren Zangenteile (1,1'), die vom Drehzentrum weg in einen Zangenhebel (3,3') für den Kraftangriff und einem Schneidhebel (4,4') für die Ausübung der Brechkraft aufgeteilt sind, hat an den Schneidhebel (4,4') Mittel (5,60), um die Zangenhöcker (12,61,63) lösbar zu befestigen. Im Teilbereich der Zangenschneide (4,4') können Trennklingen (6,6') zur Durchtrennung von Armierungen vorgesehen sein. Die lösbaren Zangenhöcker (61,63) können lösbar in einem Höckerbett (60) befestigt sein, welches Höckerbett am Schneidhebel (4,4') lösbar oder daran angeformt angeordnet ist. Eine Mehrzahl von Zangenhöckern können ein Arbeitsprofil bilden, das sich von einem anderen Arbeitsprofil, das aus der gleichen oder einer anderen Anzahl von Zangenhöckern gebildet wird, in der Brechwirkung unterscheidet.
