[origin: EP0347371A1] The crushing tongs, comprising a tongs body (7) for receiving two tongs parts (1, 1') which are each pivotable via their own centre of rotation (2, 2') and which, away from the centre of rotation, are divided up into a tongs lever (3, 3') for applying the force and a cutting lever (4, 4') for exerting the crushing force, has on the cutting lever (4, 4') means (5, 60) for detachably fastening the tongs bumps (12, 61, 63). Severing blades (6, 6') for severing reinforcements can be provided in the region of the cutting levers (4, 4').
