[origin: WO8809225A1] The decontamination is carried out ''in situ'' by spraying a solvent inside the sealed tank. The transformer (1) is fixed to a vibrating table (2). The solvent laden with PCB is collected, distilled and recycled. The orientated vibrations accelerate the streaming and infiltration of the solvent against the internal walls and the active parts. A second phase achieves the decontamination of the coils (12) by injection of solvent inside the coils (12) during a centrifugation operation valid for any type of transformer immersed and electric apparatuses.

La décontamination se fait ''in situ'' en pulvérisant un solvant à l'intérieur de la cuve étanche. Le transformateur (1) est fixé sur une table vibrante (2). Le solvant chargé de PCB est recueilli, distillé et recyclé. Les vibrations orientées accélèrent le ruissellement et l'infiltration du solvant contre les parois intérieures et les parties actives. Une seconde phase achève la décontamination des seuls bobinages (12) par injection de solvant à l'intérieur des bobinages (12) pendant une opération de centrifugation valable pour tout type de transformateurs immergés et appareils électriques.
