[origin: EP0347525A2] An optical aiming device, especially a main sighting telescope, for an armoured tank with a barrel weapon, having binoculars for viewing by a gunner, a reticule with target and adjusting marks and an adjustable look-out mirror for aligning the optical axis with the barrel-core axis, has a field-adjusting device for adjusting the look-out mirror in relation to a reference mark assigned to the barrel muzzle. To make the field-adjusting device capable of night vision, there is an artificial light source which, during adjustment, illuminates one of the two viewing orifices of the binoculars. <IMAGE>
