[origin: EP0347611A2] The gripper for sheet-fed rotary presses consists of a gripper finger and a gripper pad, against which the gripper finger can be swivelled under the effect of a gripper spring (10) in the operating cycle of the machine and can be swivelled away counter to the effect of said gripper spring which is supported on one side against an abutment (12) on the gripper housing (3) and, on the other side, against an abutment at a counter-stop (3), at least one of these abutments being fixed by retaining means which can be detached from one another. Said detachable retaining means are constructed in the manner of a bayonet closure and can be brought into engagement with one another by a movement of an inner closure part (12b) counter to the effect of the gripper spring (10) with partial rotation of the inner closure part (12b). <IMAGE>
