[origin: EP0347816A2] The invention relates to the production of a patterned flocked material wherein the patterned support surface is provided with a transparent layer of adhesive into which a plain light-coloured flock is flocked. This produces a flocked material having a fine textile appearance featuring a delicate, decorative patterning which shows through with soft contours out of the ground of the support surface and appears watercolourlike. <IMAGE>
