Abstract (en)

This concerns the installation, between the floor (10) and the ceiling (11) of any room, perpendicularly to a sole rail (29) previously mounted on the floor (10), of a partition panel (12) whose core (15) can be at least partly removed along its edge. According to the invention, a U-section is chosen as the sole rail, the partition panel (12) is brought laterally, inclined or lying, into contact with this sole rail (29) by an edge along which its core has previously been at least partly removed, and it is raised to the vertical until, straddling the particular flange of the sole rail (29), it is installed partly inside this sole rail (29) and partly outside the latter. Application, in particular, to composite partition panels. <IMAGE>
