Abstract (en)

Thread-cabling machine comprising an improved regulation device (or cabling head) (7), in which each work station consists of a DT assembly similar to a double-twist unwinding spindle, making it possible to join the two elementary threads (1) and (2) by twisting, one of the threads (1) forming a balloon (1a) surrounding the bowl, inside which the bobbin of the second thread is arranged, and the two threads (1, 2) being joined together on the cabling head (7) consisting of an assembly comprising two pulleys (13, 14) mounted on a support driven in rotation by the balloon (1a) of the thread (1). <??>It is characterised in that the eyelet carrier plate (17) located underneath the rotary pulleys (13, 14) and making it possible to bring the threads (1) and (2) to said pulleys comprises a frustoconical part (20) allowing the thread (1) forming the outer balloon (1a) to wind round a reserve groove (21) forming a radian u in relation to the axis XX of the assembly (7). <IMAGE>
