Abstract (en)
The device according to the invention comprises a toric magnetic circuit (20) with rectangular cross-section, covered with an insulator, and on which is wound an internal electrical winding (26). Upper (56) and lower (57) toric caps are applied onto the upper face and the lower face of the internal electrical winding (26), and are covered with an external electrical winding (48). A space (62, 63) separates the respective edges of the upper cap (56) and of the lower cap (57), encouraging thermal exchanges. The invention improves the thermal performance of toric transformers. <IMAGE>
