The present invention relates to a portable sign, in particular for road traffic, comprising an indicating panel mounted on a support placed on the ground in the use position. This device is characterised in that the support comprises two elements, one in the shape of a "U" and the other in the shape of an "H", each having at their base two legs of equal length, one upper end of each leg of the "H" element being linked, by a lockable joint, to an upper point of each of the two legs of the "U" element in order to form, by being moved apart, an angle of at least 90 DEG , means being provided at the base of the "U" element in order to permit the panel (1) to be fastened at its bottom part to the element (2) in the form of a "U", and to permit an angular displacement of the panel towards the horizontal about its pivot axis, and in order to return the panel towards a substantially vertical position. <IMAGE>

La présente invention concerne un dispositif portatif de signalisation notamment pour la circulation routière, comportant un panneau indicateur monté sur un support mis sur le sol en position de service. Ce dispositif est caractérisé en ce que le support comporte deux éléments, un en forme de "U" l'autre en forme de "H" ayant chacun à leur base deux branches de longueur égale, une extrémité haute de chaque branche de l'élément "H" se trouvant associée, par une articulation blocable, en un point haut de chacune des deux branches de l'élément "U" pour constituer par écartement un angle d'au moins 90°, des moyens étant prévus à la base de l'élément "U" pour permettre une fixation du panneau (1) en sa partie basse sur l'élément (2) en forme de "U" et permettre un déplacement angulaire du panneau vers l'horizontale autour de son axe d'oscillation et pour ramener le panneau vers une position sensiblement verticale.
