Abstract (en)

Although isolating switches of fully insulated switchgear are activated when circuit-breakers are open, it is however often necessary that they are also able to switch small currents on and off. Isolating switches of the known type are very slow and arcing-through and interruptions in the isolating path result. Such phenomena which are damaging for the system can be avoided in that a high-speed contact pin, pre-tensioned by springs, ensures accelerated contacting or interruption. <IMAGE>

Trennschalter von V.I.S. werden zwar bei geöffneten Leistungsschaltern betätigt, es ist jedoch oft erforderlich, dass sie auch kleine Ströme ein-und ausschalten können. Trennschalter der bekannten Art sind sehr langsam und es kommt zu Durchzündungen und Unterbrechungen in der Trennstrecke. Solche für die Anlage schädlichen Erscheinungen können dadurch vermieden werden, dass ein Schnellschaltstift, durch Federn vorgespannt, für eine beschleunigte Kontaktgabe bzw. Unterbrechung sorgt.
