[origin: EP0348743A2] A crank case air extraction system with a primary and a secondary extraction facility which open via a common connection piece into the cylinder head cover of an internal-combustion engine is presented. The coupling pipe section connecting the air extraction pipe to the intake duct of the internal-combustion engine is of multi-part design and here forms a labyrinth for condensate precipitation. Overall, the crank case air extraction system presented is distinguished by very simple methods of production and assembly and low weight while at the same time being highly functional.
