The quality testing of water-soluble paints is to be carried out under precisely defined conditions, thereby approximating to the actual processes in the practice of laboratory operation. The new method and the apparatus for carrying out the method are intended to provide an efficient and inexpensive facility for this purpose, the intention being for the apparatus to be so compact that it can be used in a laboratory. In the method, suitable steps for drying water-soluble paints are undertaken under preselectable conditions. The method can be carried out in an apparatus consisting of only one chamber and is consequently reproducible with precisely defined conditions. Quality testing of water-soluble paints.

Die Qualitätsprüfung wasserlöslicher Lacke soll unter genau definierten Bedingungen erfolgen, dabei die tatsächlichen Abläufe in der Praxis im Laborbetrieb annähern. Das neue Verfahren und die Vorrichtung zum Durchführen des Verfahrens sollen eine Möglichkeit dazu schaffen, wobei die Vorrichtung so kompakt sein soll, daß sie in einem Laboratorium benutzt werden kann. Im Verfahren werden geeignete Schritte zum Trocknen wasserlöslicher Lacke unter vorwählbaren Bedingungen vorgenommen. Das Verfahren kann in einer aus nur einer Kammer bestehenden Vorrichtung durchgeführt werden und ist demzufolge reproduzierbar mit genau definierten Bedingungen.
