Abstract (en)
In the case stub of a multi-part case for a propellant charge, cracks appear at the sharp transition of the ejector shoulder after firing. This has an adverse effect on the number of reuses possible. The new case stub 1 will allow a frequent reuse at a low outlay in terms of repreparation. <??>Attached to the case stub 1 is a rotationally symmetrical shaped part 2 which at least partially forms the ejector shoulder 4. The surface of the case stub 1 connected to the shaped part 2 is rounded and made smooth at least in regions undergoing high stress. <??>The reusable case stub 1 with the shaped part 2 is suitable for multi-part cases for propellant charges. <IMAGE>
