Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0348971A2] A fastener released upon closing a door is equipped with a lock case (4) which has a lock cover (3) with a passage orifice (3'') provided in it for the bolt (2) spring-loaded in the direction of its extended locking position and in which is accommodated a spring-loaded clamping plate (6) engaging round the bolt (2) by means of a clamping lug (6'') and making it possible to block it in any insertion positions. Furthermore, there is a latch (5) under spring force which likewise passes through the lock cover (3) and which is pressed in when it strikes the door frame and thereby pivots the clamping plate (6) into its release position freeing the bolt (2). To achieve a simple and easily mountable compact design, the latch (5) is equipped with a cavity (5') which extends continuously in its direction of displacement and through which the bolt (2) is to be inserted. Advantageously, the lock case (4) and the latch (5) are hollow-cylindrical and, together with the correspondingly annular clamping plate (6) and a compression spring (7) loading it, are arranged concentrically relative to the bolt (2) to be inserted centrally through all of them. <IMAGE>
