[origin: JPH0252695A] PURPOSE: To efficiently perform work with only one station by moving a gripping assembly onto a deposit mechanism and operating it so that at least one layer of a gripped stack can be released and spread over the deposit mechanism. CONSTITUTION: A grip head 14 of a gripping assembly 12 grips the upper layer of a rear panel stacked on a plate 1 carried up by a jack 8 and moves to the upper side of a deposit plate 15 by a jack 13, a rear panel is turned over in lengthwise direction and placed on a deposit bar 19, and the bar 19 is moved down by a jack 21 and placed on the deposit plate 15. At the same time, the gripping assembly 12 is moved to the plate 1, the rotary plate 1 is rotated for 1/3, positions a front panel in respect to the grip head 14, moves up and is gripped by the grip head 14, the last operation is repeated and the front panel is superimposed on the rear panel placed on the deposit plate 15. Next, rest panels are similarly superimposed. Thus, preparation work can be efficiently performed on one work station.
