Abstract (en)
The present invention relates to a novel smoke detector with radioactive source operating on the air capacitor principle, equipped with an electronic velocity-measuring circuit, to which has been fitted an integrated circuit in order to inform the terminal about the nature and address of the location of the incident. The invention, according to Figure 1, is characterised in that it comprises: - a detector with ionisation chamber containing a radioactive source, (1), - an electronic velocity-measuring circuit for processing the signals, (16), - an integrated circuit (17) determining the nature of the signals and indicating to a terminal (TS) the location of the incident. The invention is used in fire detection installations. <IMAGE>
