[origin: JPH0252997A] PURPOSE: To ensure reliable manual opening/closing of a breachlock, especially in a limited region, by providing the energy storing device of an opening lever with a gas pressure spring having a piston and a toothed rod jointed to the piston. CONSTITUTION: An opening lever body 8 is provided with a containing chamber 11 having a tubular opening 10 arranged in the moving direction of a toothed rod 12 and the opening 10 extends over the motion stroke of the toothed rod 12 into the containing chamber 11. One end of the chamber 11 is screwed to a threaded insert member 23 arranged at the end of the opening 10 to close the end of the chamber 11. The rod 12 is jointed with a piston 9 to form a gas pressure spring 6 and gas is compressed in the piston 9 and the chamber 11 extending therefrom toward the insert member 23. The piston 9 comprises a piston head 63 and a piston rod 9' jointed with the toothed rod 12.
