Abstract (en)
A former for a tube with side plies is intended to be incorporated into a production line for bags made from paper, or from any other material, from a continuous band (1) which is wound, at the entry, onto the periphery of the former (6) so as to generate the tube (5) and which, through translation, is moved along the said former (6) in order to exit in the form of a flattened tube (5) comprising two inner side plies (15). <??>In order to prevent transverse forces on the band during the formation of the tube with side plies, the former (6) has edges (12) whose profile follows the folding line (13) for these side plies (15) of the tube (5) during its advance along the said former (6). <IMAGE>

Un mandrin de formage d'un boyau à soufflets est destiné à être incorporé dans une chaîne de fabrication de sacs en papier, ou en toute autre matière, à partir d'une bande continue (1) qui est enroulée, à l'entrée, sur la périphérie du mandrin (6) pour donner naissance au boyau (5) et qui, par translation, se déplace le long dudit mandrin (6) pour sortir sous forme de boyau aplati (5) comportant deux soufflets (15) intérieurs. Pour éviter les efforts transversaux sur la bande au cours du formage du boyau à soufflets, le mandrin (6) présente des arêtes (12) dont le profil suit la ligne de pliage (13) de ces soufflets (15) du boyau (5) durant son avancement le long dudit mandrin (6).
