In washing machines or dryers, a considerable simplification of the drive system can be obtained if the rotatably mounted drum is driven by a drive motor arranged directly on the drum shaft. In the solution for direct drive provided here, the drive motor (7, 8) arranged directly on the drum shaft (6) will be designed as an asynchronous motor with a cage armature. The stator sheet stack of the drive motor (7, 8) is of segmental or circular design and carries a winding (10) which generates a travelling wave or a rotating field when the operating current is switched on. In a further embodiment, the armature (7) is designed as a rotor on the reluctance principle or as a short-circuit disc rotor. <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Bei Waschmaschinen oder Wäschetrocknern kann eine erhebliche Vereinfachung des Antriebssystems erfolgen, wenn man die drehbar gelagerte Wäschetrommel durch einen direkt auf der Trommelwelle angeordneten Antriebsmotor antreibt. Bei der hier vorliegenden Lösung eines Direktantriebs soll der direkt auf der Trommelwelle (6) angeordnete Antriebsmotor (7, 8) als Asynchronmotor mit einem Käfigläufer ausgebildet sein. Das Ständerblechpaket des Antriebsmotors (7, 8) ist dabei segmentförmig oder kreisförmig ausgebildet und trägt eine Wicklung (10), die bei Einschaltung des Betriebsstromes ein Wander- oder ein Drehfeld erzeugt. In einer weiteren Ausführungsform ist vorgesehen, den Läufer (7) als Rotor nach dem Reluktanzprinzip oder als Kurzschlußscheibenrotor auszubilden.
