[origin: EP0350449A2] A description is given of liquid detergents which are stable on storage and contain - 0.001% to 0.2% of at least one water-insoluble or sparingly soluble optical brightener, - 0.001% to 0.2% of at least one polymer and/or copolymer, and - 0.2% to 5% of at least one highly disperse silica, as well as the preparation thereof using an aqueous dispersion which contains the optical brightener and the polymer constituents and the use thereof. No pale spots are formed when fabrics are cleaned using the liquid detergents according to the invention.
