The withdrawal of the latch (5) can also be obtained independently of this operation by means of a door catch (7). The lock cylinder is designed as a free-wheel cylinder (3). A gear (17 to 23) is interposed between the door catch and a driving-rod slide (10) for the driving rods. The locking and unlocking operations can thereby be carried out separately by the free-wheel cylinder (3). Consequently, the driving-rod lock can be locked and unlocked in any sequence from inside by means of the door catch and the free-wheel cylinder (3) and furthermore locked and unlocked from outside by means of the free-wheel cylinder (3) and a key. <IMAGE>
