A mortise lock is equipped with a follower (3) rotatably mounted in coincidental bearing bores (2') of the lock case and consisting of material unresistant to fire, especially plastic, and with a follower arm (5) equipped with this, both of these being provided with insertion orifices (3' and 5') engaging round the latch pin (4) in a rotation-preventing manner. So that such a mortise lock can also be used for fire-check doors, the diameter (D) of the bearing bores located in the lock case and intended for the follower (3) is only a little, at most up to 1.4 times, larger than the diagonal (d) of the latch pin (4). <IMAGE>

Ein Einsteckschloß ist mit einer in deckungsgleichen Lagerbohrungen (2') des Schloßkastens drehbeweglich gelagerten, aus feuerunbeständigem Werkstoff, insbesondere Kunststoff, bestehenden Schloßnuß (3) sowie einem damit versehenen Nußarm (5) versehen, die beide mit den Drückerstift (4) verdrehungssicher umgreifenden Einstecköffnungen (3' bzw. 5') versehen sind. Um ein solches Einsteckschloß auch für Feuerschutztüren verwenden zu können, ist der Durchmesser (D) der im Schloßkasten gelegenen Lagerbohrungen für die Schloßnuß (3) nur wenig, allenfalls bis zum 1,4-Fachen größer als die Diagonale (d) des Drückerstiftes (4).
