An electrical connector has a housing sleeve (1) and a plug contact housing (6), both of which are of one-piece design. The housing sleeve (1) has on the inner side at least one radially acting detent means (2) for latching with a correspondingly designed counter-detent means (14) of the plug contact housing (6) introduced into the housing sleeve (1). A crimping zone (3), onto which a crimping tool can be placed from outside, is formed on the housing sleeve (1). In the region of the crimping zone (3), the plug contact housing (6) is provided with a metal sleeve (11). A tube-like screen of the lever can be clamped firmly between metal sleeve (11) and crimping zone (3). <IMAGE>

Ein elektrischer Steckverbinder besitzt eine Gehäusehülse (1) und ein Steckkontaktgehäuse (6), die beide einstückig ausgebildet sind. Die Gehäusehülse (1) weist an der Innenseite mindestens eine radial wirkende Rasteinrichtung (2) zum Verrasten mit einer entsprechend ausgebildeten Gegenrasteinrichtung (14) des in die Gehäusehülse (1) eingeführten Steckkontaktgehäuses (6) auf. An der Gehäusehülse (1) ist eine Krimpzone (3) ausgebildet, auf die ein Krimpwerkzeug von außen aufgesetzt werden kann. Im Bereich der Krimpzone (3) ist das Steckkontaktgehäuse (6) mit einer Metallhülse (11) versehen. Ein schlauchartiger Schirm des Hebels ist zwischen Metallhülse (11) und Krimpzone (3) festklemmbar.
