The invention relates to an assembly having a container (1) which can be filled with a liquid and has an outlet opening (4) and having a pumping device (5) with a pump chamber (11) and a pump impeller (10), revolving in the latter, for accelerating the liquid, having a single-phase synchronous motor (5a) for driving the pump (5b) and having a pump inlet line (25) which is situated below the outlet opening (4) of the container and connects the latter to the suction connection (13) via a liquid shut-off means (19) arranged on the suction side, upstream of the pump (5b), in the liquid feed. A common control means (19) is provided for the pumping device (5) and the liquid shut-off means (17). The pumping device (5) is furthermore arranged below the outlet opening (4) of the container and the pumping device (5) is only electrically switched on by the common control means (19) if the pump chamber (11) is not yet or only to a small extent filled with liquid, for which purpose the control means (19) initially holds the liquid shut-off means (17) closed. After pump start-up, the common control means (19) opens the liquid shut-off means (17) with a time delay and, before the pumping device (5) is switched off, first of all closes the liquid shut-off means (17), after which the pumping device (5) is switched off with a time delay if the pump chamber (11) is empty or almost empty. Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Anordnung mit einem mit einer Flüssigkeit füllbaren Behälter (1) mit einer Auslaßöffnung (4) und mit einer Pumpvorrichtung (5) mit einer Pumpenkammer (11) und einem darin umlaufenden Pumpenrad (10) zum Beschleunigen der Flüssigkeit, mit einem Einphasensynchronmotor (5a) zum Antreiben der Pumpe (5b) und mit einer Pumpeneinlaufleitung (15), die sich unterhalb der Behälterauslaßöffnung (4) befindet und diese über ein saugseitig vor der Pumpe (5b) im Flüssigkeitszulauf angeordnetes Flüssigkeitssperrmittel (17) mit dem Ansaugstutzen (13) verbindet. Es ist ein gemeinsames Steuermittel (19) für die Pumpvorrichtung (5) und das Flüssigkeitssperrmittel (17) vorgesehen. Weiterhin wird die Pumpvorrichtung (5) räumlich unterhalb der Behälterauslaßöffnung (4) angeordnet und wird durch das gemeinsame Steuermittel (19) die Pumpvorrichtung (5) erst elektrisch eingeschaltet, wenn die Pumpenkammer (11) noch nicht oder nur zu einem geringen Teil mit Flüssigkeit gefüllt ist, wozu das Steuermittel (19) das Flüssigkeitssperrmittel (17) zunächst geschlossen hält. Das gemeinsame Steuermittel (19) öffnet das Flüssigkeitssperrmittel (17) nach dem Pumpenanlauf zeitverzögert und schließt vor dem Abschalten der Pumpvorrichtung (5) erst das Flüssigkeitssperrmittel (17), wonach die Pumpvorrichtung (5) zeitverzögert abgeschaltet wird, wenn die Pumpenkammer (11) leer oder nahezu leer ist. Ein Rückschlagventil (18) ist auf der Druckseite der pumpe (5b) so dicht am Auslaufstutzen (14) angeordnet, daß die nach Abschalten der Pumpenanordnung (5) und Aktivierung des Rückschlagventils (18) in die Pumpenkammer (11) zurückströmende Restflüssigkeit die Pumpenkammer (11) nur zu einem so geringen Teil füllt, daß das Anlaufen des Synchronmotors (5a) nicht behindert wird.
