The invention relates to a device making it possible to half-open a window, French window or sliding window, the complete opening of this requiring the release of a lock of the device. L'invention concerne un dispositif permettant d'entrebâiller une fenêtre, porte fenêtre ou baie coulissante, l'ouverture complète de celui-ci nécessitant le déverrouillage d'une serrure du dispositif. Ce dispositif est constitué d'une serrure (1) servant d'articulation à un bras d'entrebâillement [3] fig. 2 dont la longueur effective se détermine automatiquement, soit par indexage, soit par friction, et d'un support de bras [4] oscillant autour d'un axe et, si nécessaire, suivant le type de fenêtre, coulissant perpendiculairement à celle-ci.
