Abstract (en)

[origin: JPH02141241A] PURPOSE: To rapidly and effectively remove a dirt by cleaning to be started by a remote operation during operating of a printer, and simultaneously conducting cleaning at a plurality of places along a plate cylinder and/or a blanket cylinder. CONSTITUTION: When one dirt occurs on a plate cylinder and a key 9 is, for example, pressed, a rotary magnet 3 is excited to rotate in one direction via a microcomputer system and a control wire 10. A cleaning element 4 is moved toward a plate cylinder 1 according to the motion of the magnet 3. And, a side of the element 4 formed with an ink scraping plate 6 is brought into contact with a surface of a printing plate. Thus, the dirt on the surface is scraped. When the dirt is on a blanket cylinder 2, a process of cleaning is conducted similarly in the order. The keys 8, 9 are operated by using the many such elements 4 disposed adjacently, and simultaneously cleaned at the places.
