Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0351631A1] In a control device for a fuel injection nozzle of an internal combustion engine, a pressure chamber (18) is provided between an inlet (17) and a valve seat (4). With the valve seat (4) closed, an injection pressure for the injection nozzle builds up in the pressure chamber (18). In order to improve the pressure build-up and the pressure compensation, the valve seat (4) is formed by that end of a valve element (2) which is near to the inlet (17). With the valve seat (4) opened, the pressure chamber (18) is connected to the interior (5) of the valve element (2). The interior (5) is open to the outlet (13). <IMAGE>
