Mast für ein Segelbrett, wobei der Mast über einen Mastfuß oder über eine teleskopartige Verlängerung mit einem schwenkbar ausgebildeten Gelenk verbunden ist, wobei zwischen dem Mast und dem Gelenk ein hydraulisch dämpfendes, axial bewegliches Gummilager zur axialen Dämpfung der Bewegungen des Mastes gegenüber dem Segelbrett vorgesehen ist.
