Metallic transport and storage containers for radioactive materials possess a metallic anticorrosive coating in the interior in the normal case. A particularly good thermal transfer and easy decontamination are achieved if the anticorrosive coating consists of an adhesive coating made of a chromium-nickel alloy applied in a fused state and a cover layer made of the same material applied in a fused state.

Metallische Transport- und Lagerbehälter für radioaktive Stoffe besitzen im Innern im Normalfall eine metallische Korrosionsschutzschicht (4), (5). Einen besonders guten Wärmeübergang und leichte Dekontaminierbarkeit erreicht man, wenn die Korrosionsschutzschicht aus einer schmelzflüssig aufgetragenen Haftschicht (4) aus einer Chromnickellegierung und einer schmelzflüssig aufgetragenen Deckschicht (5) aus dem gleichen Material besteht.
