Electrical heating appliance, in particular a fan heater with a generally prismatic housing for receiving electrical components together with their switching, regulating and control elements, and a safety switch which can operate in a heat-dependent manner. A simple, straightforward design of the switching, regulating and control elements is achieved by a strip-shaped housing section (7) for the electrical components accommodated in the housing, e.g. fan motor, electrical heating element; said strip-shaped housing section is arranged transversely and horizontally on the outside of a front wall (6) of the housing (1), the switching, regulating and control elements and their actuating elements being arranged on and/or in said strip-shaped housing section. Moreover, a harness (14), connected to the switching, regulating and control elements and having on its free extremity a multipoint connector, and a mains cable (13) extend from said housing section.

Bei einem elektrischen Heizgerät, insbesondere Heizlüfter mit einem im wesentlichen prismatischen Aufnahmegehäuse für elektrische Komponenten und deren Schalt-, Regel- und Kontrollorgane sowie einem wärmeabhängig betätigbaren Sicherheitsschalter ist zur einfachen und übersichtlichen Ausbildung der Schalt-, Regel- und Kontrollorgane an einer Stirnseitenwand (6) des Aufnahmegehäuses (1) außen quer horizontal ein stabförmiger Gehäuseteil (7) mit an und/oder in diesem angeordneten Schalt-, Regel- und Kontrollorganen und deren Betätigungsglieder für die im Aufnahmegehäuse untergebrachten elektrischen Komponenten, z. B. Gebläsemotor, elektrisches Heizelement vorgesehen. Außerdem ist aus dem Gehäuseteil ein mit den Schalt-, Regel- und Kontrollorganen verbundener Kabelbaum (14) mit einer am freien Ende angeordneten Steckerleiste und eine Netzanschlußleitung (13) herausgeführt.
