[origin: JPH02112791A] PURPOSE: To prevent a cap from being removed by providing a case band surface edge, a glass that is fixed to the case band surface edge, and a cap that completely covers the surface edge and at the same time, is extended in the state for covering the side part of the case band partially. CONSTITUTION: Glass 3 contains a cylindrical lip 22 in a state so that it is engaged to a groove 24 of a case band 16. The edge part of the lip 22 and the bottom part of the groove 24 form a ring 26 made of the composite of the material of the glass 3 and a case band surface edge 2. The ring 26 is formed by welding the glass to the case band surface edge by ultrasonic welding and the materials of the edge part of the lip 22 and the bottom of the groove 24 are melted by that kind of welding. After a case is assembled, a cap 5 is placed on the case band surface edge 2 and, in that case, a thin layer of an adhesive material 32 is applied to the inner wall surface of a cap or the outer surface of the case band surface edge in contact with the cap in advance, thus preventing the cap from being removed from the case band.

La boîte de montre (1) comporte une carrure-lunette (2) fait en matière plastique recouverte par une coiffe (5) faite en métal. La coiffe est une feuille métallique mise en forme pour épouser le relief de la lunette (15) et de la carrure (16) qu'elle recouvre. la coiffe est fixée à la carrure-lunette par de la colle située de préférence dans un logement (33) pratiqué dans l'épaisseur de la carrure et s'étendant au moins partiellement le long de la périphérie de ladite carrure.
