Abstract (en)
The cleaning device for the piping system (3) of a whirlpool bath (1), which piping system contains a circulation pump (2), comprises at least one suction opening (5) provided in the bath wall (6) and, likewise formed in the bath wall, output valves (8) connected to a pressure line and in each case having a nozzle for the supply of a water/air mixture to the inside of the bath. The latter is in communication with a discharge line (11) via a closable discharge opening (9) in the bath bottom (10). Each outlet valve (8) has a valve housing (22), an approximately cylindrical nozzle body (25) which delimits the nozzle channel (24) and is mounted in the valve housing by way of an external thread (40) and can thus be axially displaced by means of torsion, and an air-supply channel (23) which opens into an annular chamber (27) directly adjoining the input side of the nozzle body (25). A central nozzle core (26) is also provided which, when it bears on a valve seat (34) allocated to it, closes the valve and which, by relative axial displacement in relation to the seat, to a greater or lesser extent frees the outlet cross-section for the water/air mixture. A particularly effective and reliable cleaning is ensured in a simple manner by virtue of the fact that the nozzle core (26) is connected to a membrane (31) controlling it; this membrane is constantly acted upon in the direction of closure and delimits a first valve housing space (36) situated on the side remote from the nozzle core (26), which valve housing space (36) is connected to the pressure line (7, 28) by a first solenoid valve (13) or the like determining the duration of the closure state of the outlet valve (8). Disinfectant can be supplied to the suction line (4) by way of a metering valve (16). Provided between the pressure line (7) passing over all the outlet valves (8) and the discharge line (11) is a run-off line (16) with an interposed second solenoid valve (17) or the like, whose opening time is longer than that of the metering valve (16). <IMAGE>

Die Reinigungseinrichtung für das eine Umwälzpumpe (2) enthaltende Rohrleitungssystem (3) einer Whirlpool-Wanne (1) umfaßt mindestens eine in der Wannenwand (6) vorgesehene Ansaugöffnung (5) sowie ebenfalls in der Wannenwand festgelegte, an eine Druckleitung angeschlossene Austrittsventile (8) mit jeweils einer Düse für die Zufuhr eines Wasser-Luft-Gemisches in den Wanneninnenraum. Dieser steht über eine verschließbare Abflüßöffnung (9) im Wannenboden (10) mit einer Abflußleitung (11) in Verbindung. Jedes Austrittsventil (8) weist ein Ventilgehäuse (22), einen den Düsenkanal (24) begrenzenden, etwa zylindrischen Düsenkörper (25), der über ein Außengewinde (40) im Ventilgehäuse gelagert und somit durch Verdrehung axial verschiebbar ist sowie einen Luftzufuhrkanal (23) auf, der in einer unmittelbar an die Eintrittsseite des Düsenkörpers (25) angrenzenden Ringkammer (27) mündet. Ferner ist ein zentraler Düsenkern (26) vorgesehen, bei dessen Anlage an einem ihm zugeordneten Ventilsitz (34) das Ventil geschlossen ist und der durch relative Axialverschiebung in Bezug auf den Sitz den Austrittsquerschnitt für das Wasser-Luft-Gemisch mehr oder weniger freigibt. Eine besonders wirksame und sichere Reinigung ist auf einfache Weise dadurch gewährleistet, daß der Düsenkern (26) mit einer ihn steuernden Membran (31) verbunden ist; diese ist dauernd in Schließrichtung beaufschlagt unde begrenzt einen auf der dem Düsenkern (26) abgelegenen Seite befindlichen ersten Ventilgehäuseraum (36) der über ein die Dauer des Schließzustandes des Austrittsventils (8) bestimmendes erstes Magnetventil (13) o. dgl. an die Druckleitung (7,28) angeschlossen ist. Über ein Dosierventil (16) ist der Saugleitung (4) Desinfektionsmittel zuführbar. Zwischen der über alle Austrittsventile (8) geführten Druckleitung (7) und der Abflußleitung (11) ist eine Ablaufleitung (16) mit einem eingeschalteten zweiten Magnetventil (17) o. dgl. vorgesehen, dessen Öffnungszeit länger bemessen ist als die des Dosierventils (16).
