Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0351906A1] A lubricant composition is described which comprises at least one tricarboxylic acid triester, a minor amount of a phosphate ester antiwear agent, and a substantially residue-free, organic additives package. The lubricant finds utility, for example, in natural gas-fired rotary engines where it is eventually consumed with the fuel, leaving essentially no residue in the combustion chamber.
