Catamaran, the hull of which comprises two profiled floats (1,2) integrally connected to a joint arranged above the waterline, which catamaran is characterised in that each float has, beneath the waterline, a recess (5) extending towards the rear of each float, and in that a rigid blade (7) is fixed to the hull in the rear zone of the catamaran beneath this waterline (4), this blade being oriented substantially along the axis (X-X) of the catamaran, forming an angle with the vertical (Y-Y) to the waterline (4). <IMAGE>

Abstract (fr)

Navire catamaran dont la coque comporte deux flotteurs profilés (1, 2), rendus solidaires par une liaison disposée au-dessus de la ligne de flottaison, navire caractérisé en ce que chaque flotteur présente, sous la ligne de flottaison, un décrochement (5) se prolongeant vers l'arrière de chaque flotteur et en ce qu'une lame rigide (7) est fixée à la coque dans la zone arrière du navire sous cette ligne de flottaison (4), cette lame étant orientée sensiblement suivant l'axe (X-X) du navire en formant un angle avec la verticale (Y-Y) à la ligne de flottaison (4).
