Abstract (en)

[origin: JPH0284557A] PURPOSE: To stabilize an undyed and dyed polypropylene fiber material against water-based bath by treating the material with an aqueous solution containing a light stabilizer selected from the class of the sterically hindered amines. CONSTITUTION: An undyed and dyed polypropylene fiber material is photochemically stabilized by treating the material with an aqueous solution containing a light stabilizer selected from the class of the sterically hindered amines [e.g. those each containing at least one group of the formula (R is H or CH3 ) in the molecule].
