Abstract (en)
A housing (1) of plastics material has apertures (2) in its face through which a tool (3) is inserted to actuate e.g. a clamping screw involved in the making of an electrical connection to a conductor. Other apertures (4) are provided for insertion of the conductors (5). Adjacent to each tooling aperture (2) is a flap (6) hinged at its top edge (7) to cover the aperture (2) until access is required for the tool (3). Two adjacent flaps (6) may be held in the closed position by a double catch (8) between them. Reference numbers or other indicia inscribed on the flaps (6) can be read clearly in either open or closed positions.

Bei diesem elektrischen Verbinder ist an seinem Gehäuse (1) benachbart der Zugangsöffnung (2) für ein Werkzeug zum Betätigen des im Gehäuse befindlichen elektrischen Leiteranschlusses eine als Bezeichnungsträger dienende Lasche (6) angespritzt, derart, daß sie sowohl in eine Schließlage über die Zugangsöffnung (2) geklappt werden kann, als auch in einer weiteren Schwenklage dieser Öffnung freigeben kann. Die Lasche (6) ist zweckmäßig direkt mit der Bezeichnung beschriftet.
