Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0352395A1] The marine anchor comprises two symmetrical blades (5") each provided with a pair of symmetrical wings (6"). Between the blades, a shank (1") can pivot about a transverse shaft (4") joining the two blades so as to form, relative to the shaft (4"), a front arm (1"A) and a rear arm (1"B). The free end of the rear arm carries transverse spurs (13"). An oblong slot (3") is provided in the shank, in its longitudinal axis, for the passage of the shaft (4") joining the blades. The spurs abut the wings (6") of the blades when the shaft is in the rear part of the slot. The spurs are released from the wings when the shaft is in the front part of the slot. The slot has the general shape of an isosceles trapezium, the axis of symmetry of which coincides with the longitudinal axis of the shank, the large base being situated towards the front. Elastic or breakable stops (15") are provided in order, under normal conditions, to limit the movements of the spurs when they are released from the wings. <IMAGE>
