Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0352409A2] A distance holder (10) for lamellae carriers (11) of vertical lamellar blinds comprises an elongated, strip-shaped section (22), a connecting element (24) at the end side for positive engagement with the lamellae carrier (11); as well as a stop (23) arranged at its free end, which can be guided in contact with the adjacent lamellae carrier. To simplify the installation and avoid splaying of the strip- shaped sections (22), the connecting element (24) of the distance holder (10) carries on its side averted from the lamellae carrier two grooves (37, 38) aligned with respect to one another, whose distance and width essentially correspond to the dimensions of the strip-shaped section (22) of the distance holder (10) so that the strip-shaped section of the distance holder of the following lamellae carrier can slide when leaving or entering said grooves (37, 38). The upper sealing surface (34) of the connecting element (24), which faces the lamellae carrier (11), is inclined with respect to the longitudinal axis of the strip-shaped section (22) so that when the lamellae carriers (11) are moved together the strip-shaped sections (22) of all distance holders (10) lie tightly on one another in the manner of scales. <IMAGE>
