[origin: EP0352410A2] A worm gear for angle adjustment of vertical lamellar blinds having a vertical axis, which is arranged inside a lamellae carrier housing (10), carries a pinion connected thereto in a rotationally secure fashion, and is connected at the end side to a lamella, a worm that can be rotated by a drive shaft via an internal profile being in driving engagement with the pinion, is characterised by a worm (23) having an axial central opening, which is held by means of a snap-fit bush (25) in conjunction with substantially simplified installation and reduced overall depth of the lamellae carrier housing (10) on a projection (22) of the lamellae carrier housing (10) shaped like a pipe stub. The worm (23) is provided with an internal serration (31), which engages with cams (30) arranged on the outer circumference of the snap-fit bush (25) and thus forms a slip clutch, which due to the restricted torque transition allows the worm to be overwound without damage. <IMAGE>
