[origin: US5012735A] A web-fed rotary printing assembly includes first and second printing couples. Each printing couple has upper and lower printing pairs of plate cylinders and blanket cylinders. An impression cylinder is pivotably supported cooperatively with the blanket cylinder of the first printing couple. Each of the blanket cylinders is also pivotably supported. This assembly allows the press to perform perfecting as well as being suitable as an imprinter. Flying plate changes may also be accomplished.
