Abstract (en)

The invention relates to a process for monitoring the cathodic protection of a buried or immersed metal structure (1) in which the said structure is connected to a metal electrode (2) buried near it. After waiting for the said metal electrode to be polarised, the metal electrode is disconnected from the structure, is connected to an input of a measuring system (6) whose other input is connected to a reference electrode, and the electrical voltage existing between the metal electrode and the reference electrode is measured. <IMAGE>

L'invention est relative à un procédé de surveillance de la protection cathodique d'une structure métallique (1) enterrée ou immergée dans lequel on connecte ladite structure à une électrode métallique (2) enterrée à sa proximité. On attend que ladite électrode métallique soit polarisée, on déconnecte l'électrode métallique de la structure, on la relie à une entrée d'une chaîne de mesure (6) dont l'autre entrée est connectée à une électrode de référence et on mesure la tension électrique existant entre l'électrode métallique et l'électrode de référence.
