[origin: JPH02160384A] PURPOSE: To obtain high reliability of contact even with relatively light control by forming two contact surfaces in the direction of insertion of an electric plug. CONSTITUTION: In a sleeve contact for an electric plug, having a box-shaped thin frame 1 in which four contact members 2, 3, 4, 5 are formed, the pairs of contact members 2, 3: 4, 5 that operate in conjunction with each other are spaced apart in the direction of insertion of the plug. Thereby two contact surfaces in front and rear at a predetermined interval to each other are formed to obtain reliability of contact and good holdability of the plug in the sleeve contact, especially under the vibrational load of insertion coupling.
